• The Department of Computer Science and Engineering came into existence since the inception of the college
• Initially, in 1996 the annual intake was 60
• The intake level was enhanced to 90 in the year 2000-2001
• Based on the demand of the department, the intake level was further increased to 120 in the year 2001 – 2002 and onwards
• Offers Four year B.E. Degree program
• Two years M.E.(CSE) Degree program
• Approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University
• Accredited by National Board of Accreditation for three years\
• pproved as a Research Nodal Centre for pursuing MS and Ph.D by Anna University, Chennai and Anna University of Technology Chennai
• ISO 9001-2008 Certified by TUV, Germany
• Permanent Affiliation to Anna University from 2009
