MILESTONES

• The Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering Branch was established since inceptions, in the year 1996.
• Accredited by NBA in 2004/2008 and valid up to 2011.
• AICTE approved , increase in annual intake from 60 to 120 students from the academic year 2008 - 2009 for first year and additional 10% of lateral entry in the second year.
• One third of the faculty members of the department are pursuing the doctorate degrees.
• The department has got fame in producing University ranks.
• The department has a very good placement record of placing more than 95% students in various core and IT companies
• Our student, Mr. Ramaraja.S has won the “MOST VALUABLE PLAYERS-2009”in University of Singapore, for his outstanding performance in cricket.
• Dr.S.Nagarajan, was awarded for producing the best Kaizen for the academic year 2008 - 2009.
• Mrs.Gunaselvi Manohar, won the Best Programme Officer Award for the Youth Red Cross (YRC) by Anna University.
• Our student,Mr.Karmega kannan has atteneded International Youth Leadership Conference,Prague, Czech republic during the academic year 2010-11
• Workshops ,conferences and seminars on recent topics were organized by getting funding from CSIR,DRDO,DIT, AICTE etc.,
