PREAMBLE

In order to meet the ever growing and wide ranging hi-tech Industrial demands in the current decade, particularly in the 'IT' related areas and in the computer aided applications, our Institution had planned to commence this specialized master's program, MCA, in the year 2000.

Initially, the sanction for annual intake was 30. Having already fulfilled the criteria for ‘MCA strength of 60', as per laid down norms and standards of AICTE and the Anna University, sanction for annual intake has been enhanced to 120, since the year 2008.
