Special Camp was conducted for 10 days at Thandalam
Activities include:
- General Medical Camp in association with SRM General Hospital .
- Dental Camp with SRM Dental Hospital .
- Nursing Camp focusing on Maternal Care
- Importance on rain water harvesting and preventing water-borne diseases.
- Awareness on First Aid and ‘Say No to Polythene Bags'.
- Visit to Mentally Retarded School, Orphanage, Old Age home.
- First Aid Training.
Students have been consistently showing enthusiasm and progress. They have won prizes in competitions hosted by leading Institutions; IT students bagged the 'Rolling Trophy' in 2004 in the Inter-departmental cultural festival “ TALENTIA ”.
Besides, students of the Department participate in various service club activities like Rotaract (Students Wing of Rotary International), Youth Red Cross, and NSS. The Rotaract excelled in all its Avenues of Service, Community Services, Blood Donation, International Service, Professional Service like 'Professional Development of higher secondary Students' and in Club Service. |
